Obituary for Richard William Barr

Richard Barr Nephi, Utah. Richard William Barr returned to our loving Father in heaven on March 25, 2009. He went to join his eternal companion Sally Eileen Pett Barr, parents, two sisters, and many other family members who preceded him in death. Sadly he left behind children: Kimberley Barr, Thad Barr, Shawn Watson, Amber ramos (jorge), Rulon Barr, Zachary Barr; Stepchildren: Julie Ison (Aaron), Sarah Jarrah (Jason), Fred Spencer; sister, Shelly Vincent (Danny); and 18 grandchildren along with many other loved ones. Rick played baseball and football through out his school years and attended U of U on a full ride football scholarship. He was a graduate of the police academy in Salt Lake City, Utah. He then served as a police officer in Spring City, Utah. He also worked many years as a truck driver for Robinson Transport. Even thought his family was always his first priority and he did everything he could to love and support all of their endeavors. Services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Spring City Utah LDS chapel. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
